Willie J. Dillard is a decorated veteran police detective, security executive, licensed private investigator, and author with more than 26 years of experience in law enforcement and security management.
For 14 years, Willie served as President of the Allegheny County Port Authority Police Association, advocating for officers and their families while building a career defined by leadership, integrity, courage, and service.
His debut book, A Conscious Badge: Living Beyond the Badge, draws from that depth of experience to offer an authentic and compelling perspective on the realities of law enforcement. Through the character of Marcus DeVaughn, Willie explores the sacrifices, struggles, relationships, and personal realities carried by those who serve behind the shield.
At its heart, the book is a tribute to the countless unsung heroes who wear the badge and confront difficult realities while remaining committed to justice, duty, integrity, and service.
